What it does
The job, step by step.
Reads AR/AP, historical cash timing and known fixed costs from QuickBooks, PayPal, Stripe or Square — or a CSV upload if nothing is connected.
Produces a 30/60/90-day cash flow forecast with percentage-variance confidence bands and named risk flags.
Delivers a chat summary plus a downloadable spreadsheet.
Designed to trigger on questions like "will I make payroll", "what's my runway" or "I've got a cash crunch".
Decision guide
Where it fits—and where it doesn't.
Best for
A sole trader or small team who already has Stripe, Square, PayPal or QuickBooks connected and wants a fast, reviewable cash position — not a replacement for an accountant.
Not ideal for
Filing anything, or treating the output as tax or financial advice — it explicitly isn't.
Common gotchas
- Falls back to a CSV upload if no financial connector is live — the output is only as good as what it can actually read.
- Cowork is a paid-plan feature; the free Claude tier won't reach this.
- Review the forecast against your own records before acting on it — this summarises evidence, it doesn't audit it.
Platform comparison
Same job. Different reality.
"Official bundle" means the platform ships and maintains it directly. "Open marketplace" means independent builders publish their own version, unreviewed by the platform. "Mechanism only, not yet" means the underlying feature exists but no vertical bundle for this job has surfaced in the sources we checked.
ChatGPT
Open marketplace- Plan & access reality
- OpenAI has not shipped an official, curated small-business bundle comparable to this. The GPT Store is an open marketplace — independent builders publish and price their own Custom GPTs, reportedly from roughly $200 to $1,500 for a bespoke one. That's a different model, not a worse one, but the vetting job falls to the buyer rather than the platform.

- Confirmation model
- Not applicable — no official bundle to compare. A specific Custom GPT would need its own independent review before we could list it here.
Claude
Official bundle- Plan & access reality
- Included in Claude Cowork, which comes with Pro and above (Max, Team, Enterprise) — not the free tier. The plugin is called "Small Business"; this specific skill is cash-flow-snapshot.
- Underlying connectors
- QuickBooks · PayPal · Stripe · Square · CSV upload fallback
- Confirmation model
- You approve every step that touches money or customer data before it runs, per the plugin's own description.
- Disclaimer
- Anthropic's small-business skills explicitly don't provide financial, tax, legal or HR advice — treat the output as a prepared draft for you (or your accountant) to review, not a filed answer.
Gemini
Mechanism only, not yet- Plan & access reality
- Google's premade Gems for Workspace add-on subscribers are documented for sales, customer service, marketing and HR use cases. No finance-forecasting Gem has surfaced in the sources we checked.

Grok
Mechanism only, not yet- Plan & access reality
- Grok Skills and Workflows exist as a general mechanism (launched 18 May 2026), but no small-business-vertical bundle comparable to this has surfaced in the sources we checked yet.
